I HATE LOST

Friday, February 1, 2008

I have been living in dread all week. I know I am going to have to watch it tonight, in all it's surround sound glory, but I HATE it! I never want to watch it, but I come away excited for the next episode. Though after a week, I'm ready to be done with it. I am so sad that the writers strike didn't effect this show the same way 24 was effected. I know Masaki loves both LOST and 24, but oy! I just needed to vent about something. I love the writers strike. L-O-V-E it! But PLEASE kill LOST.

I am sorry to all you LOST fans out there, really I am, the writing is excellent, it is a great show...I just hate it, and all the 1 hour of my life it sucks up every week it is on. Thank you for listening.

I hate lost, too. Though I'm not sure if it's for the same reasons you do? I just can't follow the storyline. We started watching season 1, and if we missed an episode here and there, nothing made sense anymore. We rarely watch it now.

I watched season 2 of Lost with the last roommate I had . . . she rented the DVDs of the entire season and we watched it obsessively for about a week until we were done. By the end of it, and once I saw a few episodes from the third season, I was completely . . . well, lost. Maybe that's why the show has that as it's title--it's not the characters who are lost, it's the viewer! Who are the "others"? Why all the wacky stuff going on? Did the island have something to do with aliens, or ghosts, or an ancient, secret government site, or a scientific experiment, or . . . ? I gave up pretty fast in the third season . . . I was just too lost.
